Perhaps that’s a counter-intuitive way to start a blog that’s going to discuss our ideas and our value-add! But, let’s be honest, there are very few true visionaries out there.

“Thought leadership” is all the rage with organisations, “gurus”, all clamouring to get the latest idea on the pitch. But we think there’s a different way. It stems from our desire to remain curious, to learn and to use that continuous learning journey in applying what we do to generate value for others.

We call it Thought Provocation. We don’t know all the answers, we don’t profess to. But what we can do is keep asking the questions, and keep focused on the outcomes.

We talk about authenticity a lot, and that has to start here. We are human, we have all failed as well as succeeded. That learning (scars and medals as I called it in another blog- Been there, done it… lost the T-shirt?) is what we believe gives us permission and credibility to do the things we do.

Am I being a bit intentionally over humble? Maybe. We do have plenty of ideas to share, but those are just the start of any conversation (we’ll be sharing our core approaches in future blogs). We build our approach based on a continually evolving experience that is enriched by every client interaction, every new member of the team that joins the thriving #weareadvance community and, increasingly, the relationships we are building with key partners who, working with and alongside us, add to our ability to deliver value.

So, don’t expect us to offer you all the answers up front, but we will provoke you to come up with them through challenge and support you as long as we need for you to get where you want and need to be.
